This trip is a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about and interact with a remote Maasai community unchartered by tourists. This cultural exchange is lead by Under the Acacia founder, Jess Teutonico, and Loita Community Chairman, Joseph Koyie. With the money from this trip we will have the opportunity to participate in the opening ceremony of the new school in Esoit. This is an unbelievable opportunity to meet the masai who very seldom meet people outside their community  (if we reach our goal and 12 people sign up for the trip, we will name a classroom after Jetsetter)

The next highlight will be the Masai Mara and the fantastic animal viewing. This is the perfect time of year to catch the last part of the migration crossing the Mara river.

You will be picked up from the Nairobi international airport and transferred to Wilson airport for your flight to Siana spring. From the minute you land you are sure to see wildlife, long before you reach your luxury camp. You will have two nights at Olarro Camp, nestled along the Loita Hills.

 The highlight will be visit of the UNDER THE ACACCIA PROJECTS.

On the third day, after breakfast guests start the 3 hour drive across the Masai Mara. Most of the drive is through the game reserve so you will have lots of opportunities to see animals along the way.  You will arrive at Olanana after lunch.

 In the Masai Mara – you are stunned by the beauty of the wilderness and the freshness of air that comes with it will take your breath away. In this vast wild wilderness culture mingles easily with the wild and is home to the Masai people and the numerous game that will include among others the big five. A flower girl and your Sanctuary Olonana guide will meet you on arrival and transfer you to the camp. En-route to camp enjoy a first glimpse of the Masai Mara’s wildlife, you may be rewarded with sightings of elephant, buffalo, giraffe and a host of plain game.
