Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your Extraordinary Journeys representative. Your first stop on your safari is Giraffe Manor where you will stay for one night.

You scenic flight will take you East of Nairobi across the great Shaitani lava flow to Ol Donyo Wuas, nestled on the slopes of the Chyuliu Hills. 

This private ranch adjoining Tsavo National Park has exclusive access to a quarter of a million acres of one of the few remaining wilderness areas of East Africa.  The open plains, rolling Chyuliu Hills and snow capped peaks of Kilimanjaro invoke images of Africa as it was in the earlier part of the last century. 

Mara Plains Camp borders the Masai Mara National Reserve’s northern boundary, allowing guests the privilege of game-viewing both in the Masai Mara and in the Conservancy, away from the crowds and mini-buses. Mara Plains Camp is surrounded by the territories of a number of prides of lion. Rarely a night passes without lions roaring nearby, while leopards are regularly found to wander through the camp and cheetahs have established territories close by.  

In the after-noon you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi

 A representative will meet you in Arusha, and accompany you to the international airport for your connecting flight back to Europe / the US.
