The new Zarafa Camp re-opened in June 2008 with a beautiful new design and spectacular new location to rave reviews and critical acclaim. It  is blessed with an extraordinary location in the eastern sector of the Selinda Reserve, overlooking the vast savannas and floodplains of the Zibadianja Lagoon under cool and shady Jackalberry and Red Ivory forests. 

Horseback riding was the highlight of my last safari trip at Grumeti Reserves. 

Sitting on your race horse, you note that there are no fences… only miles and miles of rolling plains, populated by giraffe, zebra and thundering herds of wildebeest.   You can walk peacefully among them or race the fastest with a daring spurt of bravado that is guaranteed to give you a huge adrenaline rush and memories that will keep you coming back.
