Success report from Caring for Kids of Kenya
Hello to the Caring for Kids of Kenya family,
Today is a very big day for Caring for Kids of Kenya. Our first child has received his test scores that are comparable to our SAT scores. We are happy to report he received a B which in Kenya is a very good grade. Justin was rescued 2 1/2 years ago by Caring for Kids with grades as low as D and even an occasional F. We sent him to boarding school and he started to improve immediately. He has worked day and night reading every book he could get his hands on. He worked continuously with his teachers, missing recess and other fun events just to stay home and study. He wanted desperately to get ahead and make good grades. We are now searching for the best university for Justin to attend in the fall.
I want to thank Mary Wambui, the owner of the orphanage for all her help with our children. We were very lucky to find this remarkable woman who has guided our children in the past 2 1/5 years.
We are also happy to announce Caring for Kids now has 32 children sponsored most going to boarding schools with the youngest going to day schools. Also a big thank you to all of you who sponsor a child thru CFKK. We are making such a wonderful difference in the children’s lives. Most would never have the opportunity to go to school at all if it weren’t for the wonderful and giving sponsors of CFKK. Thank you all so very much. I truly hope each and every one of you can someday come with me to Kenya and meet all these amazing people who see us as angels from heaven who are helping needy children so far from America.
